Material Experience : the box
This work repurposes discarded objects, using the box as a metaphor for personal everyday life, highlighted through its capacity to fold and unfold. By integrating interlocking acrylic panels, the arist explores new forms and functions, challenging conventional views of the box. The transformation of two-dimensional collages into three-dimensional art through the box’s stucture pushes boundaries while preserving the integrity of craftsmanship
The box is the objects around me and depicts the daily life I observe which is personal and mundane. I create visual narratives based on daily life and dreams, which are more symbolic than descriptive. I want to develop a project that combines the concept of a box as an object.
